A Pastoral Letter about 4 Church Ministries in Han Family
March 19, 2025 A few weeks ago, Victor and I heard from the district superintendent about a proposal made by the bishop and the cabinet. They suggested that my husband take on full-time ministry at the three churches he has been serving, while I serve Patten Church in a half-time capacity. They also shared that moving forward, our denomination would focus on uniting individual congregations in ministry. Our initial reaction was one of being overwhelmed. We had just begun adjusting to life with our five children, the demands of serving three churches, and my M.Div. studies—how could we possibly take on more?
