The Miracle Word
1 Samuel 3:1,10,19-21 <A Trustworthy Prophet of the Lord> When the word of the Lord was rare, God spoke to Samuel four times (1 Samuel 3:1). "Samuel! Samuel!" At the last call, Samuel finally recognized that it was the Lord speaking. "Speak, for your servant is listening" (1 Samuel 3:2-10). Since then, the Lord has been with him, and none of his words have fallen to the ground. Everyone knew that Samuel was a trustworthy prophet of the Lord (v19). He listened to the Miracle word.
